Since 1996, the University Avenue Holiday Lights have been a staple of Madison's near west side during the holiday months. Started by Dr. Jack Kammer, the lights are a constant symbol of holiday spirit maintained by Jack's son, Dr. Chris Kammer, a local cosmetic dentist. Jack's mission was to provide holiday spirit to anyone of any race and religion during a time of year meant for unity and peace. This yearly event has brought joy and festive spirits to the Madison area for almost a quarter century and we look forward to continuing this special event.
